Empowering the socioeconomic development of marginalised communities by providing basic essential needs such as food, clothing and digital connectivity, installing key infrastructure, and conducting upskilling and reskilling training.
This programme supports rural communities in Sabah through a multi-sector livelihood approach covering entrepreneurship, agriculture, skills training, and sustainable practices.
Implemented with the Sabah Social Entrepreneurs Association (SOSEA), it comprises four sub-programmes: Business Acumen Training (Melangkah & Bersinar), Revitalised Cocoa Farming & Entrepreneurship (Koko Tambatuon), Local Batik & Sewing Incubation (Ampikit Tumoro), and Advanced Bio-Composting Technologies (Bio-Composting).
The programme strengthened both economic and social well-being within participating communities. To date, 120 farmers have benefitted, recording an average income increase of 25%, or RM150 to RM500 in additional monthly earnings.
In collaboration with Impact Borneo Sdn Bhd, this programme focused on enhancing the capacity of coconut farmers within rural Orang Asal communities in Sarawak.
Over six months, 90 farmers in Bintulu received in-depth training in sustainable coconut cultivation, coconut-based product development and business management. Delivered through a combination of workshops, hands-on training and practical business setup support, the programme equipped them to improve the productivity of their existing operations, adopt modern and sustainable farming practices, and develop value-added coconut products. In parallel, the business support provided enabled participants to access new opportunities further up the value chain, supporting long-term livelihood resilience.
Following the successful implementation of the Social & Emotional Learning Programme (SELP) with QSC Outreach Services in 2023, the collaboration continued in 2024, benefitting B40 students across five schools in Sarawak, comprising one secondary school (SMK Sebuyau) and four primary schools (SK Pangkalan Kuap, SK Lunying, SK Tuanku Bagus and SK Tebelu).
The programme supports students’ holistic development beyond academics, helping participants identify their feelings, communicate effectively, build strong relationships and make empathetic decisions, while gaining a grounding in financial literacy. These skills are critical in enabling them to build trust, navigate relationships and lead with confidence in the working world.
In total, 518 students benefitted from the programme, supporting their personal growth both in and beyond the classroom.

In August 2023, we launched a 6-month programme in partnership with QSC Outreach Services to provide targeted training on communication, relationship-building and other soft skills which are crucial in today’s world of work.
By coaching 44 underprivileged Orang Asal students in SK Tg. Pisang, Sarawak, we aim to help more young Malaysians achieve their dreams, potential, and passion no matter where they come from.
The focused programme nurtured and supported entrepreneurs in Spaoh, located in Betong, Sarawak, by building their confidence to grow their businesses, alongside the knowledge and skills needed to operate more efficiently and effectively.
Delivered in partnership with Mara Excellent Ventures, the programme provided participants with structured training and hands-on learning, empowering them to take bold steps in exploring new strategies and venturing into uncharted areas of business.
Provides clean water and solar power to the rural communities of Song, Sarawak to cover critical activities such as cooking, drinking, bathing, and lighting up their houses.
From January to September 2023, we worked with Impact Borneo to bring clean water supply and electricity to rural indigenous communities using Air2Water solutions based on Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technology and solar powered systems.

From January 2023 to June 2023, we partnered with CelcomDigi, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) and Planet Mahir to offer VOD Digitalpreneurs classes, SPM Tutor with hybrid classes, and IT Centre setup. These programmes teach online business skills, enhance academic performance, and enable high-speed internet access for the local community.
By empowering 110 household leaders, 70 youths, and 40 students in the Orang Asli community to unlock their potential, we are paving the way for a digital world where everyone has the chance to succeed.
Empowers rural communities at Kota Belud, Sabah with access to clean water and sustainable farming for improved household income and food security, uplifting 1021 B40 hardcore poor individuals.
From October 2022 to March 2023, we partnered with Hopes Malaysia Welfare Association to implement a 20KM clean water pipeline, delivering fresh water to 4 villages and empowering families with the means to engage in sustainable farming practices.
By improving access to basic necessities as well as the means to thrive, we hope that this initiative will enable sustainable, thriving local communities, sparking a positive change in Kota Belud and beyond.
Aims to empower Orang Asli communities in Bentong, Pahang, by providing necessities to improve their well-being and livelihood.
In collaboration with Saora Industries, this initiative will provide 617 Orang Asli beneficiaries across four villages with solar energy-powered systems, clean water filtration and agricultural exploration tools. These essentials will help improve their living conditions, reduce their dependence on external aid, and empower them to lead a self-sufficient life.
We hope that the initiative – the first initiative under Jalinan Kasih Murni – will become a beacon of hope for the Orang Asli community, illuminating their dreams for a brighter future.
